It’s certainly a tough balance to strike. We’re aiming for 150–200 in freshman/sophomore classes, 70 in core, 35 in electives. If we taught every student that would learn, our freshman/sophomore pre-requisites would be 500–600, our core classes would be 300, and our electives would be 150. If we care about relationships, it means having more faculty (which up until recently, meant more space).
