So far, it’s pretty clear he hasn’t learned anything; moreover, there’s a whole conservative world of men’s rights that’s celebrating his behavior. I suspect it’s going to take much greater consequences for him to even remotely consider the effects of his behavior. And if he was truly triggered more by my identity than my feedback, he may never encounter someone like me again. Most of his managers will be cis men with no interest in creating a culture of safety. I so hope that I’m wrong!
